New Balance continues to demonstrate its versatility and commitment to innovating its classic silhouettes, including the New Balance 550. Ever since its resurgence, the model has seen a multitude of colorways, from subtle neutrals to vibrant hues. For its latest iteration, New Balance is offering the 550 in “Blue Suede.”
This suede and mesh version of the New Balance 550 revels in various shades of blue. Shaggy blue suede takes over most of the sneaker's upper, while the mesh base opts for a greyish-blue hue. Light blue leather bearing a white trim serves as the backdrop for the iconic "N" logo on the midfoot. The rest of the branding details, including the tongue tag, "550" text, and the heel tab's "NB" logo, pop out in clean white. Beneath all these is a white midsole, complemented by a cream-colored outsole.
The New Balance 550 Suede Blue is set to release on September 29, 2023 through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
