New Balance is set to dedicate May 2024 to celebrating a color synonymous with the brand: Grey. Dubbed Grey Days, this event highlights new and classic renditions of New Balance's footwear, showcasing its signature color's enduring legacy and timeless appeal. Originally chosen in the 1980s to craft a superior running shoe, grey was selected for its ability to stand out against the urban backdrop of concrete and asphalt, mirroring the independent ethos of New Balance. Over the decades, grey has remained a staple in their lineup and has become a hallmark of style that seamlessly transitions from performance to lifestyle wear. Unlike last year, where Grey Day was a singular event, the celebration of grey footwear spans the month of May.

The celebration kicks off on May 1st with the launch of The Grey Shop, available in New Balance stores online. This special collection will feature a range of new and existing grey styles across lifestyle, performance, Numeric, and kids' lines. Notable models such as the 327, 574, and 550 will be included, alongside a selection of timeless grey apparel, providing options for everyone from the avid runner to the fashion-savvy streetwear enthusiast. On May 17th, New Balance will release the Grey Days WRPD Runner and 1906R, both special-edition designs that incorporate material mixes and distressed details inspired by the timeless quality of stone. Following closely on May 20th, the Fresh Foam X 1080 Grey launches, featuring suede detailing and a classic, tonal grey colorway that offers a heritage-inspired update to New Balance’s pinnacle running shoe.

May 23rd sees the global launch of the District Vision x New Balance SC Elite v4, accompanied by a range of matching apparel. On the same day, a greyscale Kawhi 4 hits shelves, blending high-performance features with a sophisticated, lifestyle-influenced aesthetic that transitions effortlessly from the basketball court to street style. The month’s releases conclude on May 24th with the Grey Coco CG1 and Fresh Foam Audazo Numeric, where the Coco Gauff signature design stands out with hairy suede accenting and neutral detailing.

The New Balance Grey Days will take place throughout May 2024 through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store, with prices ranging from $60 to $265, depending on the sneaker.
