After reviving the New Balance 550, the Boston-based brand has seen a massive resurgence in popularity. Years removed from this revival, New Balance still has plenty to offer on the 550, with the latest colorway coming to us as a women’s exclusive. Launching alongside the “Vintage Green” and “Terracotta” variants, the New Balance 550 “Brick Red” (W) now has official images.
The New Balance 550 Brick Red boasts a classic white leather base enlivened by vibrant brick red accents. These pops of color elegantly grace select portions of the upper, including the "N" logo, "550" text on the perforated leather overlay, and the tongue tag's graphic. Additional brick red accents can be found on the "NB" logo at the heel, collar overlay, tongue lining, vamp, and rubber overlays near the heel. The midsole comes in a white finish and features New Balance branding, while a white and brick red outsole completes the design.
The New Balance 550 Brick Red (W) will release June 21 through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
