If for whatever reason you still don't have a pair of 550s in your daily rotation, perhaps the freshly-revealed New Balance 550 "Turtledove" will change your mind. One of the latest colorways to hit the Boston brand's ever-popular basketball silhouette, make sure you keep it locked here to find out everything that we know so far, including potential release information, pricing details, and a whole lot more.
Arriving in a clean cream hue that bears a striking resemblance to the AURALEE collaboration from 2021, this 550 boasts a full leather construction with plush mesh padding across the tongue and collar. New Balance's signature "N" logo is finely inlaid across the lateral and medial sidewalls, and to nod to its '80s roots, an old school basketball graphic is stitched across the tongue tag. All of this sits on top of a beige midsole that has been engineered to dominate, both on and off the court.
Set to be one of the most popular pairs of the season, the New Balance 550 Turtledove is set to release on April 6th, 2023 in men's sizes for $120. Expected to drop at New Balance and select retailers both online and in physical locations, if you're looking for a more in-depth breakdown of the 550, check out our New Balance 550 Buyers Guide here, and for the hottest sneaker and streetwear news, releases, and raffles, follow us over on Twitter and download our official Mobile App!
