New Balance has forever been one of the only major footwear labels that manufacture products in the USA through its aptly named “Made In USA” lineup. Though the New Balance 550 doesn’t fall into this category, the model has appeared in patriotic shades since its 2020 revival as recently seen on the New Balance 550 “USA,” however, another red, white, and blue colorway has just emerged.
Unlike the colorway mentioned earlier, this “White Red Blue” rendition comes covered in leather with mesh landing along the collar and nylon making its mark on the tongue. The majority of the model is dressed in white with accenting red hits seen on the “550” branding, “N” logo, atop the tongue tag, and on the lining of the tongue while light blue shades are visible on the leather collar overlay, the collar itself, and on the sockliner. Further blue hits come in around the piping of the midfoot’s “N” logo and back on the heel through the “NB” graphic and a rubber heel counter. Rounding out the design is the white 550 midsole paired with a red, white, and blue rubber outsole.
The New Balance 550 White Red Blue is set to release on April 6th, 2023 through New Balance and select NB retailers online and ins-tore. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
