New Balance’s 576 first hit the streets in the 1980s and has since become a hallmark for the brand. Aside from its regular inline releases, New Balance also takes the 576 to its Flimby, U.K. factory for a more premium construction. Following the revelation of a brand-new 991 Made in UK, the 576 “Dark Gull Grey” now joins the luxurious lineup.
The New Balance 576 Made in UK Dark Gull Grey showcases a greyscale palette across its multi-material upper. Constructed from a blend of pigskin suede, mesh, and leather, the design exudes sophistication. Dark gull grey graces the pigskin suede mudguard, quarter panel, vamp, and heel. A lighter grey then outlines the collar and mesh base layer. Light grey laces complement the muted color scheme, while "Made in England" branding crowns the tongue. Silver leather on the heel displays "New Balance" branding, and a midsole in grey, white, and black combined with a black outsole rounds off the look.
The New Balance 576 Made in UK Dark Gull Grey has already released through select EU retailers with a wider release set later this year through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $230.
