Major footwear brands putting out mass-produced sneakers often don’t focus heavily on the quality of their sneakers. However, New Balance is one of the only mainstream labels that continually produces footwear made in America with their Made In USA line. Alongside their factories in the northeast United States, the brand’s Flimby, Cambria, UK location makes what some argue is their highest quality products. Recently, the factory has been tasked with producing a series of New Balance 576 colorways, including a 35th Anniversary Pack and an earthy “Monk’s Robe” rendition. Now, it has created a colorful “Pale Mauve” colorway.
Like the recently revealed “Monk’s Robe” colorway, this New Balance 576 Made In UK features premium pigskin suede, mesh, and synthetic materials across its upper. Creamy white hits accent along the “N” logo, collar overlay, lace set, sockliner, and tongue tag. A pale mauve shade lands on the rest of the sneaker. This pink hue appears on the pigskin suede overlays wrapping around the mudguard, midfoot, heel overlays, and on the mesh panels located on the toebox and collar. Made In England branding is proudly displayed in grey on the white tongue tag alongside NB 576 branding. New Balance text gets spelled out in white thread on the heel. Rounding out the design is the ENCAP-cushioned midsole in white/grey paired with a black rubber outsole.
The New Balance 576 Made In UK Pale Mauve is set to release on April 20th, 2023, through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $230.
