New Balance is a brand that has maintained its relevance in the dynamic world of footwear, more recently in the hype realm. One model birthed in recent years is the New Balance 9060, a Y2K-inspired chunky silhouette that continues receiving new makeovers. Possibly inspired by the current “Barbiecore” fashion trend, NB’s 9060 has emerged in a “Pink Suede” colorway.
Similar to the New Balance 2002R “Pink Suede,” this upcoming New Balance 9060 boasts a high-quality suede and mesh upper, swathed entirely in shades of pink. The suede overlays near the toe, midfoot, and heel bring depth and texture to the shoe's overall design. The mesh base, doused in a matching pink hue, ensures breathability without compromising style. White, silver, and cream accents add a pop of contrast to the soft pink. The shoe's lace set features a crisp white finish, mirroring the chunky white and cream foam midsole underfoot. The midfoot "N" logo is another standout detail, showcasing a 3M reflective silver finish on the lateral side and a dash pattern on the medial side. Rounding out the look is a robust black rubber outsole.
The New Balance 9060 Pink Suede has already released through select retailers like Slam Jam. A wider release via New Balance and select retailers online and in-store will take place in the coming weeks. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
