New Balance has not slowed down with its continuous array of colorways on the recently released New Balance 9060. First introduced with the help of Joe Freshgoods, we have since seen various renditions, including “Pine Green,” “Warped,” and “Sea Salt,” though the latest is one of the cleanest yet. Now, the New Balance 9060 has appeared in a "Quartz Grey” colorway.
Boasting a monochromatic palette of different grey tones mixed with cream accents, the silhouette combines suede, leather, and mesh across its design. The base mesh layer, sockliner, and heel tab are all coated in a soft cream hue, while the "N" logo pops in a similar shade to give it a subtle yet noticeable contrast. The grey suede upper takes center stage in the design, adding depth and texture to the shoe. These panels wrap from the toebox back to the heel, giving the sneaker the Y2K look NB aimed for when designing the model. You'll find leather panels in a matching grey finish on the toebox, while the collar features creamy leather. Underfoot sits the chunky 9060 midsole in a tri-toned grey, white, and cream finish paired with a grey rubber outsole.
The New Balance 9060 Quartz Grey will be released in 2023 through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
