Since its introduction in 2022, the New Balance 9060 has become one of the company's most popular models. Numerous GR colorways hit shelves, with the latest inline variant of the 9060 taking on a classic New Balance greyscale color scheme.
The sneaker, coated in tonal greys from top to bottom, retains its Y2K-era aesthetic with the various paneling and mesh base. Suede panels wrap from the toe towards the tonal silver N logo on the midfoot and back towards the collar. A darker grey nubuck hits the toebox overlay and makes its mark along the tongue and collar. Breaking up the tonal grey hues are black details found on the N logo around the vamp, the tongue branding window, and the embroidered N logo on the medial midfoot. Down below, the silhouette features a chunky foam midsole reinforced on the heel via a transparent TPU bar. Most of the foam midsole comes in a similar grey to the upper, with the pods near the forefoot and heel coming in contrasting grey hits. Finishing the design is the black rubber outsole.
The New Balance 9060 Shadow Grey will release on October 11, 2024, through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
