Every single time Teddy Santis drops a new colorway, sneakerheads all across the globe snap them up like it's nobody's business, and the same can certainly be said about the upcoming New Balance 990v2 Made In USA By Teddy Santis "Brown Purple." The latest palette to hit the second generation 990, like the "Khaki Orange" that was announced at the end of last month, it seems to be inspired by the season of Fall.
Dropping as part of New Balance's Made in USA line, the Queens native has applied rich brown suede overlays on top of a bold purple mesh base. The legendary "N" logo is stitched across the lateral and medial sidewalls in white, and it's highlighted by a vibrant orange outline. This fiery hue extends towards the inner sockliner, while creamy laces tie everything together, nodding to Santis' signature vintage vibe. Underfoot, the ABZORB midsole is accented with earthy tones around the heel, and it's finished with a rugged black outsole, finalizing the Halloween-esque color combination.
The New Balance 990v2 Made In USA By Teddy Santis Brown Purple is set to release on February 23rd, 2023. Set to drop in men's sizes via New Balance and select retailers worldwide, they'll retail for $195 each.
