Ever since Teddy Santis was crowned the Creative Director of New Balance's Made In USA division last year, hype surrounding the Boston-based sportswear company has been on the up and up. World-renowned for his contrasting color palettes and premium material choices, the New York City-born fashion icon has been releasing some of the most iconic NB sneakers ever, and the upcoming New Balance 990v3 Made In USA By Teddy Santis "Olive Green" will no doubt be up there amongst the greats.
Arriving with a military-esque aesthetic, the 990v3 drops the usual ballistic mesh base in favor of a lush green woven canvas construction. This is overlaid with buttery suede olive panels that offer an extremely premium look and feel. Wine red accents pour over the "N" logo and heel, where you'll also find the signature "Made In USA" tagline in a dainty cursive font. Underfoot, the ABZORB and ENCAP equipped midsole is dipped in a dark charcoal hue, rounding off the head-turning color combination.
Teddy Santis is ending the year with a bang with the New Balance 990v3 Made In USA By Teddy Santis Olive Green. Set to release via an Aime Leon Dore raffle on December 22nd, 2022, it'll be available in men's sizes at New Balance and select online and in-store retailers with a retail price of $200.
