2023 has been a remarkable year for the 990v4 silhouette, as it repeatedly finds itself in the spotlight. Having already graced the sneaker scene with its presence during the "Grey Day" events and Teddy Santis' Made in USA Season 3 makeovers, the 990v4 shows no signs of slowing down. Its newest addition to the Made in USA series will be the "Grey White" colorway, complementing its "Black" and "Navy" siblings.
Dressed in shades reminiscent of the recently showcased 996 "White Black" and 998 "Grey Cream," the 990v4 "Grey White" embodies quality with its use of premium pigskin suede adorning areas like the mudguard, midfoot, and eyestays. Each region boasts a harmonious grey tone, punctuated by a deeper grey on the suede heel overlay. 990 branding on the heel comes debossed in its usual silver finish. A testament to its heritage, the Made in USA tag can be spotted on the 3M heel tab and crowned with an American flag on the tongue. The shoe further distinguishes itself with black nubuck panels on the toe box and parts of the midfoot overlay. New Balance's iconic "N" logo stands out prominently, radiant in a 3M reflective finish and edged with sleek black leather. The shoe's foundation is a dual-tone cream and white foam midsole, seamlessly transitioning to a durable black rubber outsole.
The New Balance 990v4 Made in USA Grey White will release in 2023 through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Offered men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $200.
