Following the debut of the "Grey" and the release of Action Bronson's collaboration, we've now got an official first look at a colorway that's sure to make one helluva scene when it hit shelves. The latest generation to hit the four-decade-old model, the 990v6 is the perfect blend of past and future. Working on top of a ballistic mesh base, this is overlaid by navy perforated panels and is further complemented by light grey suede throughout. A ribbed New Balance logo adorns the lateral and medial sides, and "990v6" branding heads to the tongue, with the "v6" highlighted in a fiery red hue. Of course, the star of the show has got to be the ABZORB midsole underfoot. Aggressively sculpted and thicker than ever, it's been infused with FuelCell and ENCAP technologies for comfort and cushioning that's unlike anything else out there. While the Boston-based brand could've just left the unit all white, it has added a dash of beige around the heel to give it a seriously vintage vibe that we can't help but admire.
The New Balance 990v6 Grey Navy is set to release in 2023 through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men's sizes the retail price is set at $200.
