Under Teddy Santis' creative direction, New Balance’s Made in USA line is set to close out the fifth seasonal collection. Known for its premium quality and heritage craftsmanship, the Made in USA collection has been a staple for sneakerheads. As part of the latest season, New Balance is introducing two new colorways of the 990v6, the latest iteration in the beloved 99X series. Among these new releases are the striking White Black Plum colorway, and the equally impressive Vintage Rose edition.
The New Balance 990v6 Made in USA White Black Plum features a construction highlighting the brand's dedication to quality and detail. The upper is crafted from premium pigskin suede, perforated nubuck, TPU, and mesh. Cream-colored pigskin suede adorns the mudguard, midfoot, and heel overlays, providing a luxurious texture and feel.
The toebox and midfoot overlays feature black perforated nubuck, adding depth and contrast to the design. Purple accents on the N logo, vamp, tongue tag, and sockliner introduce a vibrant touch to the otherwise neutral palette. The white mesh upper ensures breathability and comfort. Completing the look is a cream, grey, and white foam midsole equipped with FuelCell cushioning, offering superior comfort and support, paired with a black and purple outsole for a cohesive finish.
The New Balance 990v6 Made in USA White Black Plum will release on June 27, 2024, through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $200. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
