New Balance has long been celebrated for its commitment to comfort, functionality, and timeless style. With a history spanning more than a century, the Boston-based brand has consistently delivered iconic models, with the 990 series garnering a dedicated fan base globally. This year, NB brought forth its latest 99X model with the 990v6. So far, the silhouette has been taken over in multiple colorways by Action Bronson and has also taken on clean “Grey," "Grey Day," and “Black” color schemes. Now, a “Pink” colorway has emerged.
Taking on a blend of soft pastel hues across its upper, the silhouette features premium materials. Pink pigskin suede overlays on the mudguard, eyestays, midfoot, and heel overlay complement a muted pink mesh at the base. Contrasting these pink hues are creamy white perforated leather panels across the toe and midfoot. Stepping away from the white/pink combo, silver 3M reflective hits appear on the "N" logo and a leather panel on the collar. New Balance branding is subtly placed on the tongue and heel, with 990 text debossed into the heel overlay. Underfoot, a two-tone grey and white foam midsole and black and pink rubber outsole encapsulate the FuelCell foam cushioning.
The New Balance 990v6 Pink will release in 2023 through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in full-family sizing, the retail price is set at $200 for men’s pairs.
