New Balance continues its Made in USA series with the upcoming release of the 996 silhouette in a classic white, black, and cream colorway. Now helmed by Aime Leon Dore founder Teddy Santis, this series is renowned for its exceptional quality and comfort. This fresh rendition of the New Balance 996 follows up on the reveal of the New Balance 998 “Grey Cream,” which comes similar to this new colorway.
The New Balance 996 Made in USA White Black displays an artful blend of colors and materials. White full-grain leather graces the mudguard, eyestays, midfoot, and heel, contrasting the black leather "N" logo and heel tab. Creamy mesh forms the base near the collar, toebox, and tongue, adding a soft undertone to the crisp design. The sneaker boasts 'Made in USA' branding on the tongue, while retro New Balance text is visible on the insole. A cream, grey, and white foam midsole provides comfort underfoot and is paired with a durable black and white rubber outsole.
The New Balance 996 Made in USA White Black was released via overseas retailers on August 4, 2023, with a worldwide release set for later in the year. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $190.
