Famed for its comfortable everyday sneakers worn by dads and the fashion-forward, New Balance has also established a solid footing in the basketball market. Players including Kawahi Leonard and Jamal Murray rock NB kicks on the court, and the latter is often spotted with the New Balance TWO WXY V3 silhouette. For its latest release, NB draws inspiration from summer hoops.
The silhouette comes constructed with a molded textile upper in a primarily blue finish reminiscent of clear summer skies. This chilled-out theme contrasts with bold red hits adorning the iconic "N" logo, heel pull tab, and TPU reinforcements around the upper. Adding to the sneaker's distinct look, a green embroidered brain logo is placed on the tongue tag, paired with a matching green accent on the edge of the "N" logo. Offering supreme comfort and stability, a white midsole features New Balance's proprietary FuelCell and ABZORB cushioning technology and is coupled with a green outsole.
The New Balance TWO WXY V3 Summer Basketball is out now through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
