After ending his decades-long relationship with adidas, Nigo, the legendary designer and streetwear figure who founded BAPE and Human Made, headed to rival Nike. News of this partnership hit the ‘net in early 2023, and teases would come over the next year-plus, eventually resulting in Nigo’s take on the archival Nike Air Force 3. Following his multiple takes on the model that included a Planet of the Apes-inspired colorway, Sole Retriever can report that Nigo and Nike will be launching three more colorways of the Air Force 3 in Summer 2025.
No images of the pairs have emerged at this time. However, the three different colors—Olive Grey, Enigma Stone, and Bamboo—match the color palette of the duo's latter AF3 releases. As was the case with other variants of the Nigo x Nike Air Force 3, the Olive Grey and Enigma Stone renditions will also come in an OGIN version, which flips Nigo’s name on the heel tab of the sneaker in a nod to how the designer’s work has been reinterpreted around the globe.

Nigo’s first two takes on the AF3 were vibrant, multi-color renditions that used traditional materials and finishes, such as nubuck, suede, perforated leather, mesh, and TPU, while the latter two swapped the color palette to earth tones. The Baroque Brown Fir and Light British Tan colors came with updated materials and textures aligned with the Planet of the Apes inspiration. Likely, the three new colorways will also take inspiration from a culturally significant moment in Nigo’s life.
The Nigo x Nike Air Force 3 Summer 2025 Collection will release in Summer 2025, which for Nike runs from April to July, through Nike SNKRS, Human Made, and possibly select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price for the Olive Grey and Engima Stone colors is $150, while the Bamboo variant is $170.
