Back in February, Team USA rocked up to the Winter Olympics in Beijing wearing a pair of ACG Gaiadome boots. While these were originally made exclusively for the squad, the snow-ready silhouette later released in three monochromatic color options. If you didn't manage to secure a pair, then don't worry, as Nike's All Conditions Gear line will also be launching the Nike ACG Gaiadome Gore-Tex "Blue Red," which is an almost one-to-one remake of the models that our athletes wore during the Olympics.
Boasting a high-top design that offers unrivaled support with every step, the upper is crafted from a breathable mesh and lined with Gore-Tex for the perfect balance between form and function. The black ankle is equipped with extra padding for added comfort, while various blue hues descend upon the toebox and sidewalls, complete with strips of red for a patriotic look and feel. Elsewhere, thick rope laces wrap around a series of rugged eyelets for a utilitarian vibe, and underfoot, the Zoom Air unit is housed within a Trail Frame cage, and the ACG Gaiadome is finished off with “Designed, tested, and made on planet earth” text that's etched on the sides of the midsole.
The Nike ACG Gaiadome Gore-Tex Blue Red will release sometime in 2023 in men's sizes for $230. In terms of where you'll be able to secure a pair, Nike, the SNKRS app, and select retailers worldwide will have these in-stock. As you might have already guessed, more colorways are set to be announced within the coming weeks, so follow us on Twitter and download ourMobile App for all of the updates that you need.
