When Nike's All Conditions Gear division dropped the original Mountain Fly back in 2020, little did they know that they were launching what was set to be a cult classic. After almost three years of waiting, the gorpcore community is finally getting the sequel of their dreams with the Nike ACG Mountain Fly 2 Low. Initial info courtesy of Complex, make sure you read on to find out everything that we know so far, including potential release information, pricing details, and so much more.
Engineered for both the city streets and the mountain peaks, the ACG Mountain Fly 2 Low is set to debut in five colorways as part of Nike's Summer and Fall 2023 lineups, respectively. Outfitted in a water-resistant material, pull tabs across the tongue and heel offer a rugged look and feel. "ACG" branding features across the sidewalls in a spray-on fashion, while a small Nike Swoosh adorns the mesh collar. Shifting your focus down below, the original Mountain Fly's midsole has been slightly reworked for this low-top rendition, but the carbon fiber plate and React foam cushioning makes a comeback for the perfect balance between form and function.
The Nike ACG Mountain Fly 2 Low "Laser Orange" is set to debut April 14, followed by "Neutral Olive" April 19, and the "Summit White Bright Mandarin" April 25. The "Light Iron Ore" and "Black Anthracite" pairs are set for July 21. Coming in men's sizes, look for them to drop at Nike, the SNKRS app, and select at retailers online and in-store, retailing for $150.
