Nike's All Conditions Gear (ACG) collection has consistently pushed the boundaries of outdoor and lifestyle gear, integrating high-performance materials with innovative designs suited for city streets and rugged trails. Digging into the archives, Nike ACG is reviving the Rufus silhouette, tapping into the nostalgia of the early 2000s while perfectly aligning with today’s fashion trends. Following up on the Black and Limestone colorways, a new Sequoia rendition has emerged.
The upper features a seamless suede panel in a rich sequoia shade that offers a premium look and feel. Minimalist by design, the shoe includes subtle branding with a mini Swoosh debossed on the lateral side, ensuring the aesthetics remain clean and focused. In contrast, retro ACG branding graces the insole.
The shoe is lined with black leather around the collar, enhancing its appearance and durability while complementing the earthy tones of the upper. The design is completed with a tan chunky foam midsole that provides substantial cushioning and contrasts the dark upper. A durable black rubber outsole ensures that the shoe is ready for various terrains, staying true to the ACG ethos of versatility and resilience.
The Nike ACG Rufus Sequoia will release on July 10, 2024, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the sneaker will retail for $110.
