Nike ACG's Watercat+ Gridiron Bright Mandarin Is Ready For Your Next Adventure
Earlier this week, Sole Retriever reported that Nike's All Conditions Gear division was officially bringing back the Watercat silhouette. Originally released in 2006, the adventure-ready sneaker definitely wasn't the most aesthetically-pleasing model back in the day, so when we caught our first glimpse of the Watercat+, we were glad that the Beaverton-based brand listened to all of our thoughts and prayers. After checking out the "Court Purple," we're now taking a look at the Nike ACG Watercat+ "Gridiron Bright Mandarin" - and here's everything that you need to know, including potential release information, pricing details, and a whole lot more.
Featuring more-or-less the same shape and structure as the OG from '06, one of the first things that you'll notice is the intricately-woven gridiron and bright mandarin upper that has been redesigned from the ground up. Smooth leather panels run up and down the lacing system, and speaking of which, you'll find the Watercat's signature toggle switch setup right here, giving the shoe it's unique rugged design. The triangular "ACG" logo adorns the tongue tab and rubber heel, and underfoot, the summit white midsole has been updated with an all-new black outsole for unbeatable traction and grip with every step.
The Nike ACG Watercat+ Gridiron Bright Mandarin is set to release on May 3rd, 2023 in men's sizes for $125 alongside the "Black." Expected to drop at Nike, the SNKRS app, and select online and in-store retailers, make sure you keep it locked on Sole Retriever's Twitter and Mobile App for your best chance to cop!
