Dominate The Oceans With The Nike ACG Watercat+ Phantom
If you're in the market for a pair of sneakers that have been designed specfically for water sports, the Nike ACG Watercat+ "Phantom" is exactly the type of shoe that you've been looking for all this time. The sequel to the legendary Watercat from 2006, every single fiber and detail has been reworked and upgraded for this latest edition. From how it looks aesthetically to how it works athletically, keep reading to find out everything that we know so far.
Unlike the original pair from almost 17 years ago, the Watercat+ does away with the ten ribbon setup in favor of an intricately woven upper that's painted in a crisp phantom hue. Thin stripes of leather form the lacing system, where you'll also find a toggle switch that offers a rugged and ready look and feel. Nike's ACG logo adorns the tongue tab and rubber heel, and underfoot, the summit white midsole is perforated to let water in and out with ease. It has also been upgraded with a slick new rubber outsole that's extra grippy, and equipped with a dark russet insole for a pop of contrast that's bound to turn heads wherever you go.
The Nike ACG Watercat+ Phantom is set to release sometime in Summer 2023 in men's sizes for $125 alongside other colorways like the "Black," "Court Purple," and "Gridiron." Expected to drop at Nike, the SNKRS app, and select online and in-store stockists worldwide, make sure you keep it locked on Sole Retriever's Twitter and Mobile App for your best chance to cop!
