Deion Sanders' Nike Air Diamond Turf 2 Returns Spring 2026

Deion Sanders had a contentious relationship with Nike over the years. He left the company in favor of an Under Armour sponsorship, even stating that he would never work with The Swoosh again. Well, his mind changed eventually, re-signing with Nike in July 2023. With Sanders back under the Nike banner, the Beaverton-based sportswear brand began to retro his old signature sneakers, from the Air DT Max ‘96 to the original Diamond Turf. Now, Sole Retriever can confirm that in Spring 2026, the Diamond Turf 2 will be returning.
Originally released during the 1994-1995 NFL season, the Nike Diamond Turf 2 was an incremental upgrade to the original Diamond Turf rather than a complete overhaul. The model keeps a similar shape to the first sneaker, retaining the lockdown strap on the forefoot, though the paneling is updated. Other models in Deion's line, like the original Diamond Turf and DT Max ‘96, have enjoyed multiple retro runs, but the Diamond Turf 2 only had one retro run in 2012.
Aside from the 2012 run that included a few OG colorways, the silhouette saw a one-off retro in 2014 with an FSU-themed pair, paying tribute to Deion’s time at Florida State. Over a decade later, the model is finally getting a second retro. However, there is no confirmed information on exactly which colors Nike has plans to release. Expect OGs like the 49ers' themed pairs and new renditions, possibly themed around Primetime's Colorado Buffaloes.
The Nike Air Diamond Turf 2 will return in Spring 2026 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price has not yet been confirmed.
