Before kicking things off for his signature footwear line with Nike, Kobe Bryant was linked to the classic Huarache line. Prior to debuting the Nike Air Zoom Huarache 2K4, Bryant was seen in PE editions of the classic Air Flight Huarache. Some of the rarest player exclusives attached to Kobe Bryant, one of those pairs is finally releasing for the first time ever.
In 2015, Nike brought back the Nike Air Flight Huarache in Kobe's "Lakers Home" PE edition. It marked the first time that colorway was released at retail, much to the delight of fans. His black-based "Lakers Away" counterpart was absent from a return and has yet to see an official release, until now. With news of the "OG colorway returning for Summer 2023, we can confirm that for Fall 2023, the Nike Air Flight Huarache in black, varsity purple, and del sol will also be released to the public. Identical to Kobe's PE pair from 2004, they sport an all-black design, complete with purple and gold accents. These are a must-have for Kobe fans.
The Nike Air Flight Huarache Kobe Bryant Lakers Away will release August 10, 2023 through Nike, via the SNKRS app, and select retailers worldwide, online and in-store.
