2025 is looking to be one for the record books. Nike and Jordan Brand aren't pulling any punches, with various grails, classics, and new colorways confirmed and rumored to be released throughout the year. As we close out 2024, more details are beginning to surface for what's to come in 2025. Everything from classic Air Jordans to Nike Air Force 1 grails and coveted Foamposites has been touched upon, with more coming to light each day. Speaking of the Foamposite, the Galaxy pair isn't the only pair that might be making a comeback. According to House of Heat and Elden Monitors, a classic from 2010 is on the way for Fall 2025.
Initially released in 2010, the Nike Air Foamposite One Cough Drop is the latest pair rumored to release. Coming in a black and red color scheme, the Cough Drop mirrored a 2007 release, swapping the solid rubber sole for a translucent one. While official images have yet to surface, the Black Volt iteration dropping for Spring 2025 features a translucent sole. Therefore, it would make sense that if the Nike Air Foamposite One returns in black and varsity red, it too would have the same look and translucent sole as 2010s Cough Drop.
The Nike Air Foamposite One Cough Drop is rumored to release in Fall 2025 at Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, retail is set at $230.
