When you have a 40 year old sneaker such as the AF1, a completely new colorway or color blocking is almost impossible. But, like the old saying goes, "if it ain't broke don't fix it," and that is precisely what Nike is giving us with its yet another AF1 Anniversary Edition arriving in white grey and black.
Starting with a white underlay, this Air Force 1's midsole, tongue, inside collar and branding are all done to match. Grey dubraes, laces, side swooshes and heel tabs offset the simple white construction to add some contrast. Lastly, the outsole are draped a lighter shade of grey. For some reason this particular “Anniversary Edition” AF1 comes with a gold colored toothbrush. I’m willing to bet that it’s not real gold. Still a cool addition nonetheless.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Anniversary Edition” White Grey Black will be released in 2022. It will drop at Nike and select retailers worldwide, online and in-store.
