Nike has big plans for the Nike Kobe line regarding off-the-court wear. No, we’re not talking about the baseball collection that will be released alongside the Kobe 6 Protro Dodgers, but lifestyle footwear like the Kawa Slide, Offcourt Slide, and even multiple new iterations of a Kobe Air Force 1. On top of the Lenticular Protro iteration, four new standard ‘AF1 '07s are launching, including this Purple rendition.
Joining the White, Black, and Olive colorways, this Purple pair also opts for the ‘07 version of the AF1 and updates this with construction and builds closer to the OG AF1 from 1982. Coating each leather and nylon panel is a single varsity purple hue, but contrast is present thanks to the Kobe sheath logos. We see these designs land along the vamp, tongue tag, and on the lateral heel.

Our speculative mock-up doesn’t include this, but Mamba Mentality branding is expected to appear on the lace dubrae, replacing the regular AF1 logo. Kobe’s number 24 will also appear on the silhouette, embroidered on the heel tab. Other added details include a new snakeskin materialization, though we’re not sure exactly how this will be applied now. Finishing the design is the purple midsole and outsole.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Kobe Forever Purple will release in Fall 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $130.
