Nike is going all-out for its Chinese New Year-themed sneakers. From the Air Huarache Craft and the Air Max Scorpion all the way to the Dunk Low, the Oregon-based sportswear brand isn't holding back for the Year of the Rabbit. Now, another one has been spotted in the wild in the form of the Nike Air Force 1 Low "CNY," and it has got to be one of our favorite ones yet. If you want a pair in your rotation, make sure you read on to find out absolutely everything that we know so far.
While these Air Force 1s might look like another classic colorway from a distance, upon closer inspection you'll find that it's stuffed with countless cool details. Crafted from a beige and sail leather construction, embroidered floral patterns bloom across the upper for an unmistakably Chinese New Year-inspired vibe. To the lateral and medial sidewalls, you'll find fluffy white Swooshes that nod to the Year of the Rabbit. This clean fleece material extends towards the heel. Other features that we have to mention include a new tongue tag design that was previously spotted on the Air Force 1 Low "Just Do It," unfinished rope laces, and a unique marbled outsole underfoot.
Not much else is known about the Nike Air Force 1 Low Chinese New Year at this moment in time, but our sources tell us that these will release in Spring 2023 in men's sizes with a price tag yet TBA. In terms of where you'll be able to secure a pair, Nike, the SNKRS app, and select retailers worldwide will have these in-stock.
