Similar to avocado and banana, the coconut does not immediately scream fruit, and yet it is. Nike knew this when they designed this colorway of the Air Force 1, and now you know too. As with the other sneakers in this pack, the Nike Air Force 1 Low "Coconut" features the same woven tote bag with the small Nike Swoosh and hungry fruit logo on the small tag under the handles.
The sneaker itself has an all-white leather upper, from the toe box and the toe rand to the quarter panel, and even the heel. A cracked leather swoosh and heel tab attempt to mimic the texture of the coconut’s shell, as the inner liner, tongue, midsole, and outsole represents the milk and flesh found inside the shell of the fruit. Speckled white and brown laces make their way up the tongue, with the red imitation PLU sticker on the lateral side of the upper’s heel panel that reads “Best Quality” and “Beaverton, Oregon,” with a triangular fruit sticker found on the heel of the insole.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Coconut W is set to release in August 2022. It will drop on Nike and at select retailers in-store and online in women’s sizing for a price of $110.
