Dragon fruit is a fruit that is born from cactus plants indigenous to North America. Although there’s a wide range of colors possible for the outside peel, the flesh on the inside is usually white or red. High in Vitamin C and antioxidants, dragon fruit can also boost iron in the blood, making it a fruit that can not only boost immunity but can also contribute to higher energy levels as well.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Dragon Fruit” is a take on the red peel and white flesh variety, featuring an all-white leather upper, midsole, and outsole. The Nike Swoosh logo on the upper is outlined in bright pink, with seed-like speckles to mimic a cross-cut dragon fruit. The pink prime to green gradient heel tab is a callout to a similar gradient pattern found on the leaves of the peel, as pink prime is featured on the inner liner and insole. The heel features a triangle-shaped decal, with a graphic of dragon fruit and its PLU code 97005, repping Beaverton, OR. In addition to the per serving nutrition facts found on a tag behind the tongue tag, the shoes also come with a knit bag for your next produce run at the co-op.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Dragon Fruit W is set to release on August 1st, 2022.
