The Swoosh has created plenty of AF1 colorways this year to celebrate the model's 40th Anniversary, though a mix of standard pairs and contemporary designs have hit the scene. Coming in the latter of the two, the Nike Air Force 1 Low LV8 J22 gets covered in a Panda-like “White Black” colorway.
As the LV8 name suggests, premium materials take over this slightly tweaked AF1, with a white tumbled leather throughout the overlays and underlays. Accenting this stark white hue are hits of teal blue, found via two mini Swooshes on the mudguard and vamp. Running up the tongue is a set of white laces, working atop the redesigned vertical Nike branded tongue tag in black and white. Along the midfoot, a cut-out Nike Swoosh is present in ballistic mesh, differing from its typical leather overlay design. This logo runs back to the brandless heel tab that now features a nylon pull-tab hosting Nike Air branding. Underfoot, the midsole contrasts the upper by coming in all black with teal taking over the “AIR” text on the heel. Finishing the design is a black rubber outsole.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low LV8 J22 White Black is slated to release in 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $130.
