As part of the Air Force 1’s 40th Anniversary celebrations, Nike has been releasing a bevy of colorways over the past few months. While some of these are clean and simple, others, like the Nike Air Force 1 Low "Magma Orange Elemental Pink," are unlike anything that we’ve ever seen before. While this palette shouldn’t work on paper, it somehow does, and we’re taking our closest look yet.
Boasting a cherrywood red tumbled leather base, this is dramatically contrasted by magma orange suede panels. This fiery hue adorns the toe box and makes its way all the way towards the back. As if that wasn’t crazy enough, the Oregon footwear company has added dashes of elemental pink on the laces, heel badge, and Nike Swoosh. This then sits on top of a creamy coconut milk Air midsole that offers up a vintage vibe.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Magma Orange Elemental Pink is set to release in 2022. Releasing at Nike and select online and in-store retailers, they’ll be available in men’s sizes for $120.
