The Nike Air Force 1 Low NAI-KE Basket Weave Takes on Rich Textures

In the world of sneakers, the Nike Air Force 1 Low is a timeless classic. With its countless iterations and collaborations, the iconic silhouette continues to evolve while paying homage to its roots. This year, Nike honors its Chinese market with the Nike Air Force 1 Low NAI-KE Basket Weave, a fresh take on the classic silhouette that draws inspiration from Chinese culture.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low NAI-KE Basket Weave showcases tonal cream shades throughout, with subtle hits of tan and grey for added depth. Smooth leather panels grace the toebox, mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlay, while a basket weave-like finish adorns the quarter panel. The tongue features a woven finish, complemented by leather details on the lace dubrae and tongue tag, the former boasting "NAI-KE" text. Mandarin characters embroidered into the suede heel tab match the shade on the textile holding the panel. More suede hits appear on the Swoosh, and a clean tan finish is applied to the all-leather sockliner. A white midsole with green striping wraps around the heel and is paired with a gum outsole.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low NAI-KE Basket Weave will be released in 2023 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $130.
