With the Summer months coming up just around the corner, we've already seen our fair share of impeccably clean Air Force 1s. From the "Ice Blue" to the "Oxygen Purple," it looks like Nike is ready to take the wraps off its next "Triple White" release with the upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Low NN "Canvas Cork." Dropping as part of the Beaverton-based brand's Next Nature line, this places a laser-sharp focus on sustainable materials and environmentally-friendly details.
While this Air Force 1 might look like just another classic colorway from a distance, upon closer inspection you'll quickly find that there's a lot more than meets the eye. Working on top of a summit white woven canvas base, this is overlaid by a series if synthetic leather panels which have been crafted with recycled materials for a more eco-conscious approach. Rather than the usual cow hide around the heel, this has been replaced with cork instead. This earth-friendly material can also be found along the insole, where you'll spot the Oregon company's Pinwheel logo. To round it all off, the Air midsole is infused with Grind Rubber which is basically scraps that have been collected from the factory floor during the manufacturing process, in hopes that less waste will go to landfill at the end of the production stage.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low NN Canvas Cork is set to release on April 29th, 2023. They'll drop in men's sizes at Nike, the SNKRS app, and select online and in-store retailers for a retail price of $130.
