Standing the test of time, the Nike Air Force 1 is celebrating its 40th anniversary with a wide range of selections from the Swoosh. We’ve seen the Bruce Kilgore designed silhouette dressed in UNO branding, USA-inspired colors and more. Now, the iconic Air Force Low is getting dressed up to go to space in the upcoming “Satellite” edition.
Across the entire upper, leather underlays and overlays come in a light tan that is accented by details throughout. White laces run through the eyelets up the black mesh tongue, stopping just below the tongue tag featuring a satellite. Running along the midfoot is the Nike Swoosh, covered in a red holographic material that ends via the blue holographic heel tab. Further Nike branding makes its way on the bottom of the heel overlay on the lateral side, written in a space themed font. More space themed motifs make their way onto the printed midsole, housing a satellite and sun logo. Rounding out the look is a white midsole and semi-translucent iced outsole.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Satellite is scheduled to release sometime in 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, a retail price has yet to be announced.
