Every year, Nike celebrates the legendary Air Max 1 with Air Max Day. One of the most exciting events in every sneakerhead's calendar, this day acts as a springboard for some of the Beaverton brand's latest and greatest Air Max-related innovations. While we already know that a few special colorways are in the works, it looks like we'll be getting more than we bargained for as we take our first look at the Nike Air Force 1 Low Timeless "Game Royal."
While most people will easily assume that this is just another Air Force 1 Low colorway, Swoosh fans, like you and me, will immediately get that this is actually inspired by 2017's Air Max 1 Anniversary. Working on top of a crisp summit white mesh upper, game royal suede wraps around the toe area, heel, and Swoosh, while neutral grey leather takes over the lacing system, just like the OG AM1. The classic Air Force 1 branding on the tongue tag looks like it's fading away, while additional graphics across the insole nod to the sneaker's timeless design.
As you might have already guessed, the Nike Air Force 1 Low Timeless Game Royal will release sometime in March 2023 around Air Max Day. Set to drop in men's sizes, they'll be available at Nike, the SNKRS app, select retailers both online and in-store for $130.
