This Nike Air Force 1 Low Wear Away Gets A Sail Blue Treatment

2022 marked the 40th Anniversary of the legendary Nike Air Force 1, seeing plenty of Anniversary Edition and collaborative colorways throughout the whole year. As we near the end of this momentous occasion, there are still colorways being revealed on the model with the latest being the Nike Air Force 1 Low Wear Away “Sail Blue.”
Dressed in supple tumbled leather across the various overlays and underlays, an all-over sail hue takes over this material while accenting blue hits are sprinkled throughout. Around the mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlay sits the aforementioned sail leather while the underlay on the quarter panel comes in a more true white, covered in a 3M reflective material. Running up the sandwich mesh tongue is a set of white laces, reaching the metallic blue Nike branded tongue tag. More Swoosh details come via the mini embroidery in blue on the mudguard, on a tag placed on the tail end of the logo along the profile, and back on the heel tab. The medial side switches the small Swoosh on the tag for the “Just Do It” motto in various fonts. Rounding out the look is the sail midsole with blue accent stitching paired with a semi-translucent rubber outsole.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Wear Away Sail Blue is set to release in 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
