Last year, Nike celebrated the Air Force 1's 40th birthday with a plethora of wild and wonderful colorways. As we begin to settle into 2023, however, it looks like the Beaverton-based brand has gone back to basics with releases like the Nike Air Force 1 Low "White Silver." One of the latest styles to hit the Bruce Kilgore hardcourt classic, it takes the OG "Triple White" pair and reworks it for the sizzling Summer seasons ahead. The result is a sneaker that will definitely be popping up in everyone's rotations when the warmer weather finally comes through.
While this Air Force 1 Low looks almost identical to the original from the '80s, when you took a closer look you'll quickly spot a few key differences. The most obvious one of them all is the construction. Dropping the all-leather outfit in favor of something a little more breathable, the toebox and sidewalls have all been switched out for a lightweight mesh that's perfect for those humid afternoons. Elsewhere, metallic silver stitching adorns the "Nike Air" branding on the tongue tag and heel badge, and the lace dubrae has been given a shiny finish that's sure to turn heads wherever you go. All of this sits on top of an Air midsole that's still extremely comfortable even after four decades.
As mentioned already, the Nike Air Force 1 Low White Silver is set to release sometime in Summer 2023 in men's sizes for $130. Expected to drop at Nike, the SNKRS app, and select online and in-store retailers, make sure you keep it locked on Sole Retriever's Twitter and Mobile App for your best chance to cop!
