Releasing just in time to celebrate the Air Force 1's 40th birthday, this special edition colorway is filled to the brim with references to Hispanic culture and heritage.
Running from September 15th all the way to October 15th, Hispanic Heritage Month is an annual event that pays tribute to the contributions and influence of Hispanic Americans. Working on top of a lemon wash canvas base, sanddrift suede panels wrap around the toe box, lacing system, and heel for a subtle yet striking contrast. Fiery university red accents hit the split Swoosh, while vibrant safety orange tones can be found in the sockliner. Of course, you can't talk about these Air Force 1s with mentioning the Latin-inspired stitching that runs across the upper and the "Somos Familia" symbol that is proudly displayed around the heel and insole, directly translating to "We are family" in English.
