It all started in 1982. Forty years later, not much has changed. The Nike Air Force 1 is still one of the most popular and recognized sneakers of all-time. The shoe has been deconstructed, reconstructed, remastered and more. No matter what Nike does to it, its legacy remains untarnished. Next up for the Air Force 1 is a panda themed mid-cut.
The Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Culture Day” comes in a classic white and black, with a full faux fur upper, mimicking the South Central China native’s coat. A black leather Swoosh is found on the medial sides while a mini Jewel Swoosh adorns the lateral. Suede eyestays and a leather tongue are complemented by black lining and a sail-colored Air cushioned midsole.
Another unique feature on these AF1’s is the lack of branding that is usually found on the back heel, velcro midfoot strap fastener and missing tongue tag. Custom printed insoles and a full icy translucent outsole with matching graphic underneath complete the look.
The Nike Air Force 1 Mid Culture Day is set to release on May 24th, 2022. It will launch at Nike as well as select Nike Sportswear retailers in-store and online. They will be available in men’s sizes with a retail price to be announced. Keep it locked to our Twitter and Mobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
