Nike has had a long history of updating its Air Force 1 line with the latest cushioning and upper construction technology in the past. Whether it was Lunarlon, Flyknit, Flyleather, or React, Nike always shows love for their performance basketball sneaker of old turned lifestyle staple. With the Nike Air Force 1 Crater Flyknit NN on the way, so is the AF1 Mid React.
The Nike Air Force 1 Mid React “Black Ghost Green” features the classic AF1 toe box with a dramatically futuristic look from mid to heel. Black leather with the traditional solid rubber midsole dons the toe box of the sneaker. But that’s about the only OG feature here, as the quarter panel and heel, even the strap, are completely modified. The React in the name comes from the React foam insert that drops into the shoe, revealed through the clear portion of the sneaker’s midsole. In addition to fuse and mesh layers, the ankle strap is placed on the back of the sneaker instead of the front, while the vibrant green of the tongue and inner lining peeks through the upper. Nike kept it classic with the tongue tag, however, giving us the standard Nike Air and Swoosh logo with Air Force 1 writing underneath.
The Nike Air Force 1 Mid React Black Ghost Green is set to release on October 4th, 2022, on Nike and at select Nike Sportswear retailers in-store and online. Coming in men’s sizes, they will retail for $145. Keep it locked to our Twitter andMobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
