Thanks to Simon Porte Jacquemus' Nike collaboration and the sheer amount of hype that he brought with it last year, the Beaverton-based sportswear company is officially bringing back the trail icon in the form of the Nike Air Humara "Faded Spruce Night Maroon." Just one of the many new colorways set to hit the 1997 classic, if you want to take on the toughest summits in style, this is a sneaker that you definitely shouldn't overlook.
Working on top of a midnight navy mesh base, faded spruce leather panels wrap around the rest of the upper while vintage-inspired obsidian ribbons decorate the laterals and medials, coming together the form the lacing system. A night maroon Swoosh shoots through the sidewalls, and around the back you'll find a pair of pull tabs which add to the Air Humara's rugged and ready aesthetic. Underfoot, the Air midsole has been decorated with an intricate speckled pattern, and the outsole has now been beefed up for unrivaled traction and grip, whether you're stepping out onto the city streets or the mountain peaks.
The Nike Air Humara Faded Spruce Night Maroon will release in men's sizes on February 28th, 2023. Retailing for $160, they will be available via Nike, the SNKRS app, and select retailers both online and in physical locations.
