For Air Max enthusiasts, the Nike Air Max 1 is the epitome. While it may not be the most popular silhouette, it is the one that started it all. Even more so, the Air Max 1 '86 edition, which made its comeback on a full scale in 2023 for Air Max Day. While it's not widely available like the traditional AM 1, the Air Max 1 '86 has been released in many colorways, such as Royal, Camo, and Jackie Robinson.
For Holiday 2024, an all-new Cool Grey Metallic Silver iteration is dropping.
Coming in cool grey, metallic silver, light smoke grey, white, and baltic blue, the Nike Air Max 1 '86 Cool Grey Metallic Silver is covered in grey. Made of premium materials, shiny metallic silver leather overlays are paired with white open mesh underlays. Cool Grey comes into play via the Swoosh on the sides, leather tongue tag, and top plastic eyelets. The Big Bubble Air-cushioning in baltic blue in the heel highlights the white midsole. Rounding things out is a solid rubber outsole in white and grey.
The Nike Air Max 1 '86 Cool Grey Metallic Silver is set to release in Holiday 2024 at Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, retail is set at $170.
