The Nike Air Max 1 celebration continues. 2022, 35 years since its retail debut, the Air Max line has been having a great run. Silhouettes from all across the board have seen resurgence in popularity outside of the common Air Max 95 and 97. People are even giving the Air Trainer 1 some well deserved love, whether that has to do with Travis Scott, or not.
As the year begins to dwindle down, Nike has plenty of gas left in the tank to end the 35th Anniversary of the Air Max 1 with a bang. With the “Crepe Hemp” releasing in September, its follow-up will be this Premium “Dirty Denim” edition. While denim is nothing new to the Air Max 1, this iteration is a bit different. Fitting in with the aged vibe everyone loves currently, a light, acid washed denim covers the majority of the sneaker.
The rest of the upper, premium suede, come in a slightly darker hue. Navy Blue accents the Swoosh on the sides, lining, and tongue tag. Adding more of a vintage look is the sail colored laces, top plastic eyelets, and coconut milk midsole. Finishing things off is a burnt orange solid rubber Nike Regrind outsole.
The Nike Air Max 1 Dirty Denim is set to release on August 26th, 2022. It will drop at Nike, via the SNKRS app, and at select retailers worldwide, both in-store and online. Coming in men’s sizing, retail is set at $150. Keep it locked to our Twitter andMobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
