The latest run for the Nike Air Max 1 has been a successful one. In addition to so many clean colorways released, we also got the original Big Bubble iteration, initially designed in 1986 but recalled due to quality control issues. Now, Nike is looking to revamp the Air Max 1 by giving it a material upgrade for Fall 2024. While prior GR iterations featured mesh underlays and suede overlays paired with various styles on the mudguard, you can expect to see leather replace the suede. With the fall season for Nike kicking off in July, numerous AM 1s are set to debut, including this all-new Photon Dust Smoke Grey pair.
The Nike Air Max 1 Photon Dust Smoke Grey sports classic colorblocking that we've all grown to love over the past 35+ years. Photon Dust dresses the overlays, which are paired with white mesh underlays. Smoke Grey hits are seen via the suede Swoosh on the sides and mudguard. A clean, white midsole with a photon dust-colored visible Max Air unit in the heel sits atop a two-tone grey-based solid rubber outsole to complete the look.
The Nike Air Max 1 Photon Dust Smoke Grey will release on July 1, 2024, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, retail is set at $140.
