With National Hispanic Heritage Month coming to a close very soon, the Oregon sportswear giant is rounding off the annual festivities with the limited edition Nike Air Max 1 Premium "Somos Familia." Part of the highly-coveted "Somos Familia" Collection, which translates to "We are family" in English, this is the perfect way to celebrate Latin history and culture in style.
Working on top of a soft yellow canvas base, the side panels are decked out in orange short-haired suede, while the mudguards are wrapped in grain leather and embossed with a Hispanic-inspired pattern that is sure to turn heads wherever you go. While the medial Swoosh opts for an outline design, the lateral one has been stitched on for a handmade aesthetic. Somos Familia symbols make their way to the heel and insole, and this all comes packed within a special edition shoebox that's definitely one for the collectors out there.
The Nike Air Max 1 Premium Somos Familia W is set to release sometime in October 2022 exclusively in women's sizing. Retail is TBA and these will be available via Nike, the SNKRS app, and select retailers both online and in physical locations.
