Nike is going all in on the Air Max 1 following its 35th Anniversary in 2022 as this celebration continues into 2023. Releases like the "Big Bubble" Air Max in multiple colorways, redesigns of classics like the "Chili," and clean looks like the Air Max 1 SC "Clear Jade" show how Nike is putting a focus on the Tinker Hatfield-designed model. Now, a new clean Air Max 1 SC has appeared in "Bronze."
Taking on a mixture of tumbled leather, suede, and mesh across its design, the model features bronze tumbled leather on the mudguard and Swoosh, white mesh on the toebox and collar, and grey suede on the vamp and midfoot panel. Tonal white laces and tongue contrast the bronze Nike branding and TPU eyelet nearby, while we see more branding details, found on the heel tab, embroidered in bronze. The sneaker is completed with the standard Air Max 1 midsole in white paired with a black, bronze, and white rubber outsole.
The Nike Air Max 1 SC Bronze will be released on August 23, 2023, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
