Since its debut in 1987, the Tinker Hatfield-designed Nike Air Max 1 has stood the test of time, becoming essential for sneakerheads around the globe. Now, Nike is giving the iconic model an impressive women's exclusive rendition that gets dressed in a classic white and black palette.
Embodying a timeless aesthetic, the Nike Air Max 1 in "White Black" showcases a mixture blend of suede and mesh materials on the upper. Black suede graces the mudguard and Swoosh, setting the stage for a bold contrast. The white mesh components strategically placed along the toebox and collar allow the black hits to pop and aid in breathability. White suede elements appear on the vamp, midfoot panel, and heel tab. White laces and a tongue that proudly display a black TPU eyelet and a Nike-branded tongue tag are topping off the design. Below deck, a classic white Air Max 1 midsole hosts a visible Air unit in the heel, while a black and white rubber outsole ensures reliable traction and durability.
